Warning over GPS tracking of sex offenders
"Civil Liberties Australia has urged the State Government to be cautious when using GPS devices to track high-risk offenders in WA.
The State Government hopes to introduce the technology next year and could initially fit 18 dangerous sex offenders living in the community with the devices.
It has flagged the possibility of expanding the program for other high-risk criminals such as arsonists ...""
